Dedicated to the memory of Eric Dickinson
The death of Eric Adrian Dickinson aged 72 years occurred at Northleach Court Care Centre, Northleach, Glos on 27th February 2017.
The funeral service took place on Wednesday 22nd March at Christchurch Parish Church with The Reverend Tony Williams officiating. The organist Mr Robert Aston accompanied the hymns "All things bright and beautiful" and "Lord of the dance". Recorded processional music was "Masonic Music" by Mozart, during time of reflection "Misereri" by Allegri and recessional music was "Benedictus" by Gounod. Tributes were given by Mr Charles Mansell (nephew) and Mr Richard Jones-Evans (close friend). Mr Charles Mansell also read The Forester’s Prayer, written by Joyce Latham.
Following the service committal took place at The Forest of Dean Crematorium where the entry music was "Changes" by Alan Price and on exit "My Way"by Elvis Presley
Donations in memory of Eric are to benefit Parkinson's U.K and these are being received by Ernest Heal & Sons Funeral Directors, 5 South Road, Broadwell, Coleford, Glos GL16 7BH
